In week 20, worldwide air cargo volume increased by 2 percent compared with the previous week while worldwide capacity remained at the same level, according to WorldACD's recently released data.
On a regional level, the origin Africa did best with a volume increase of 8 percent week-over-week. Origin Central and South America was the only region that showed a decrease of 1 percent.
The average worldwide yield/rate in week 20 decreased compared with week 19.
