ECS Group ropes in Robert Van de Weg as Chief Commercial Officer

Oct 7, 2019: ECS Group has brought on board industry veteran Robert Van de Weg to support the GSSA with its transformation.

With his appointment, the Total Cargo Management (TCM) expert aims to reaffirm its ability to guarantee cutting edge service for airlines and offer them a range of comprehensive solutions. With the industry undergoing change, ECS Group believes that it is no longer “simply a GSSA.”

Robert Van de Weg has held senior airline roles globally including at KLM Cargo, Atlas Air, Cargolux, and more recently, as VP sales and marketing for Volga Dnepr Group, which includes AirBridgeCargo.
