DRONAMICS secures partners for operational authorisation process

DRONAMICS is strengthening its operational authorization efforts by securing a three-way partnership agreement with the leading UAV consulting firms Murzilli Consulting and DMD Solutions with a goal to obtain EASA operational authorisations for the Black Swan drone in preparation for its commercial roll-out.

Lorenzo Murzilli, founder and CEO of Murzilli Consulting, serves as a special advisor to the Swiss Federal Office of Civil Aviation and also leads the Joint Authorities for Rulemaking on Unmanned Systems (JARUS) Working Group on Safety and Risk Management, in charge of developing the Specific Operations Risk Assessment (SORA) under which the DRONAMICS operations will be authorized.

This is primarily thanks to the growing number of national authorities that have issued permits allowing companies to trial commercial cargo drones operations. Dario Di Martino, founder and CEO of DMD Solutions, is also an independent EASA expert for aircraft continuing airworthiness and cybersecurity, owing to his extensive career experience in the field. With DMD Solutions he has consulted the aerospace product certification of several innovative companies such as Kopter, Deutsche Aircraft and UMS Skeldar.
