DB Schenker’s new hub in Turku will be home to both domestic and international land transport services for shipments to and from Scandinavia, among other locations. 300 trucks will be dispatched every day, including extra-long trucks used for high-capacity transport.

With a total area of 10 hectares – the same size as 14 soccer fields - the hub also meets the latest standards in sustainability, featuring charging stations for e-trucks, solar and geothermal energy sources, and LED lighting. Together with a 14,000-square-meter heated area and a 3,3000-square-meter unheated hall for large or heavy shipments, the new terminal marks DB Schenker’s continued expansion across Europe.
