Liege, August 19, 2014 (STAT):-CAL Cargo airlines has appointed Exp-Air as their GSA for CAL in Canada.

Eyal Zagagi, CEO, CAL Cargo Airlines: “A key element in CAL’s strategy is strengthening our Trans-Atlantic East operations so we are keen on adding lines and locations to support this strategy. As part of this strategy CAL started to operate a weekly flight from Moncton (YQM) to Liege. We are confident that partnering withEXP-Air will significantly enhance our activity from Canada in general and from Moncton in particular. EXP-Air has proven very professional and devoted, and therefore leads us to have great expectations from this cooperation.”

Daniel Ouellette, Exp-Air Cargo President, comments, “EXP-Air’s offices are present in Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, Winnipeg and Calgary with plans to expand to Atlantic-Canada thus will be a perfect match with CAL’s current gateway to Europe from Moncton. The new agreement is a fantastic opportunity for both CAL and EXP-Air to grow and expand together in Canada. In addition, we share company values and a high level of integrity with CAL; our corporate cultures meld beautifully and we’re looking forward to being productive partners.”

Danny Olynick, VP Sales adds, “We are very excited to announce this new strategic partnership with CAL Cargo. The joint network of both companies and upper-deck capacity from Moncton to Liege (Belgium) will provide a frequent, reliable, open-nose and temperature controlled cargo option to our customers in Atlantic Canada. The ability to transport perishables such as fresh seafood - the jewel of our area - as well as other categories of special cargo including oversized and overweight items, is a real advantage to our Canadian customers.”
