Bolloré Transport & Logistics Morocco are promoting entrepreneurship and innovation in Morocco

Bolloré Transport & Logistics Morocco signed an agreement, in partnership with the Essaouira-Mogador Association, the OFPPT-Essaouira Complex, and the École Supérieure de Technologie, to support the creation of an incubator dedicated to young entrepreneurs. The signing took place during the Advisors Meeting-Winter 2020, organized by the Essaouira Innovation Lab in Essaouira, Morocco on March 2nd, 2020.

Bolloré Transport & Logistics Morocco committed to donate two fitted containers of 40 feet each, which will serve as co-working, training and networking venues, opened to general public projects. Bolloré Transport & Logistics supports this approach, which relates to the one proposed by the B.Lab, the company's accelerator for innovation.

Commenting on this donation, Younes Lamarti, development manager of North Africa and general manager of Bolloré Transport & Logistics Morocco, who also attended the meeting, said: “Investing locally in youth and promoting the development of innovative projects are two essential commitments for Bolloré Transport & Logistics. We are proud to encourage, through this type of agreement, entrepreneurship and innovation in Morocco.”

Based on a design thinking methodology, the B. Lab aims to accelerate the digitalization of the supply chain by supporting all innovation initiatives, from ideation to the marketing phase. The B.Lab relies on Bolloré Transport & Logistics global network and on a worldwide innovation ecosystem, in particular through collaboration with start-ups.

The Advisors Meeting-Winter 2020 is a quarterly convention aiming to provide practical solutions to economic, societal and environmental challenges faced in the region. This meeting is also an opportunity for the concerned working groups, to meet, exchange and welcome new volunteer members within the organization.

During this edition of Advisors Meeting, several strong innovative projects were submitted to the representatives of the Innovative Lab around different themes such as education, ecotourism, entrepreneurship, training, environment and civil actions.
