Bolloré Logistics Korea announced the opening of its new AOG (Aircraft On Ground) desk, fully dedicated to AOG shipments, which has become operational since 23 March 2020.

Since the first AOG in 1950, Bolloré Logistics have developed “a network within a network” to become the logistics specialist for the Aerospace industry. Strategically placed in Seoul, Korea, the newly launched AOG Desk will become part of this global network of Bolloré Logistics AOG services offering 24/7 operational coverage.

Bolloré Logistics has been offering services for various customers ranging from airlines, helicopter operators, MROs, space research institutes, airframe manufacturers to defence companies. After achieving AS9120 certification as the first and only freight forwarder in Korea last year, Bolloré Logistics has been working even harder to provide the most reliable and prompt solutions for all our customers. The goal of this new AOG service in Korea is to better respond to urgent shipment requests from our Aerospace customers and network worldwide.

“Providing an exceptional service to meet the demands of our Aerospace customers is part of Bolloré Logistics' DNA, and we are therefore very proud to launch our AOG desk in Korea,” said Fabien Giordano, Bolloré Logistics CEO for North Asia.

“Thanks to an ever-increasing tourism with the growing number of flights to/from Korea, we have received more requests to handle AOG shipments - from MROs, national and overseas airlines year after year. Our team in Korea is very excited to serve customers with increased reliability and customer satisfaction.” commented Mark Band, aerospace business development manager, Bolloré Logistics Korea.
