Atran Airlines takes delivery of fourth Boeing 737-400 BCF

Jan 18, 2019: Atran Airlines, Volga-Dnepr Group subsidiary,
has taken delivery of Boeing 737-400 BCF, thus enlarging its fleet to four
freighters.
With 23 tonnes of cargo capacity, this additional plane will
support the emerging volumes of the carrier's volumes, especially in e-commerce
shipments.
E-commerce shipments constitute a major part of Atran's
traffic these days, informs the airline through a statement.
The aircraft will be deployed on existing routes between
Russia, CIS, and Europe and will guarantee the dedicated airlift for mail and
express goods.
The aircraft has a main deck side cargo
door and a loading system facilitating it to stow 11 standard aviation pallets
(22353175 mm) and containers in the cargo compartment.
The enlarged fleet will also facilitate cargo growth of
Volga-Dnepr Group, which consists of the leading air carriers - Volga-Dnepr
Airlines, AirBridgeCargo Airlines, and Atran Airlines.
