January 10, 2018: Air Cargo India is proud to announce Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (Schiphol Cargo) as the track sponsor for its 7th edition of international biennial air cargo exhibition and networking conference.

Schiphol Cargo, which is Europe's third largest cargo gateway has sponsors the track %u2018Facilitating global trade - how air cargo is making it happen'.

The panel discussion, scheduled on February 21%u2014the second day of the three-day event will deliberate on plethora of topics like how trade facilitation increases the value proposition of air cargo; how countries with better air cargo connectivity (measured by the Air Connectivity Index), also engage in more trade in value terms; how India is pushing for global trade facilitation through tax reforms like GST and Single Window Interface for Facilitating Trade (SWIFT); how increased digitalisation is enabling faster data-driven decision making in global trade and air cargo and how recent enhanced partnership between European and Indian carriers are increasing the possibilities of trade between India, Europe and North America.

The panel discussion will see participation of experts representing airports, cargo carriers and freight forwards from India and Netherlands. The panel will also have representations from India's regulatory bodies and from trade facilitation bodies like the Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO).

Commenting on the partnership Bart Pouwels, director business development cargo of Amsterdam Airport Schiphol said: "India is an important country for passenger and cargo business. With an extensive network between India and Amsterdam we see more and more business between our countries.”

The 7th edition of AIR CARGO INDIA, the international biennial air cargo exhibition and networking conference, organised by The STAT Trade Times%u2014the flagship publication from the global multimodal transport media specialist the STAT Media Group, will take place between February 20 and 22, 2018 at the Grand Hyatt, Mumbai.
