Air Asia Cargo appoints Ascent Air as GSA for India

August 14, 2017: Air Asia Cargo India has appointed Ascent Air, a Group Concorde company, its Cargo General Sales Agent (GSA) for pan India domestic network, effective August 10, 2017.

Air Asia India is currently serving 15 destinations namely Delhi, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Bangalore, Ranchi, Kolkata, Guwahati, Imphal, Hyderabad, Cochin, Vizag, Goa, Pune, Bhubaneshwar, Srinagar and with rapid expansion plans to grow in Indian market, likely to add many more stations in future.

This brings back the Group into mainstream domestic Cargo-GSA domain which is a growing market with booming domestic consumption coupled with e-commerce and recently rolled out GST regulations introduced by the government.

All these factors collectively are expected to make the movement of goods much easier and accelerate trade and create a competitive environment in the overall freight scenario.
