Pirelli extends 18-year partnership with Kuehne+Nagel

Pirelli, one of the world's largest manufacturers of premium tyres and related services, has extended its 18-year partnership with Kuehne+Nagel in the U.S.

"As Pirelli continues to meet the mobility needs of consumers, Kuehne+Nagel continues to meet the needs of Pirelli by facilitating growth, navigating market fluctuations within a global economy, and implementing constant improvements through LEAN warehousing activities," says a release from Kuehne+Nagel.

Kuehne+Nagel currently operates two Pirelli sites - one located in McDonough, GA and the other in Rialto, CA, representing a total space of 800,000 square feet and over 100 employees, the release said. "Kuehne+Nagel offers advanced warehousing including receiving, picking and shipping. In addition to these functions, all domestic shipments are handled at these distribution centres allowing savings to be achieved through consolidated loads."
