Following customary regulatory review, as of January 31, 2024, Kuehne+Nagel Group has closed the deal to acquire Farrow. Farrow thus becomes a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kuehne+Nagel.

"The Farrow name and team remain in place, and the organisation will continue to operate as a stand-alone business under its current executive leadership team and the guidance of Rick Farrow, Chairman at Farrow," says an official release.

“I am comforted knowing that Farrow will be in the hands of an industry leader who will continue the great work that my family started over 110 years ago," says Farrow. "As we forge ahead in this new chapter, I am excited for the business growth potential that these two companies will together drive.”

Farrow is a leader in customs brokerage, trade consulting and logistics services, the release added. "Together, Farrow and Kuehne+Nagel will expand on their cross-border capabilities and logistics services to create new opportunities for both clients and colleagues."

Headquartered in Windsor, Canada, Farrow has over 800 employees with 38 offices and warehouses including those of acquired companies D.J. Powers and Link+ Corporation, the release added.
