Jan Kleine-Lasthues leaves Hellmann after 13 years
Hellmann has appointed Madhav Kurup as Chief Operating Officer Airfreight, Seafreight, and Contract Logistics.
Jan Kleine-Lasthues, Chief Operating Officer, Airfreight, Hellmann Worldwide Logistics will be leaving the company after nearly 13 years.
"Not an easy decision and it is not a decision against Hellmann, but a decision for an exciting new role," writes Kleine-Lasthues in a LinkedIn post.
Hellmann is an excellent company with a bright future, he added. "I want to thank everyone within Hellmann, my team, the partners, the customers and especially the Hellmann Family for all the support in the last years!! It was a great honour and pleasure!."
Kleine-Lasthues worked with SDV Geis as Head of Aerospace division for more than 12 years before joining Hellmann.
Hellmann, earlier this month, appointed Madhav Kurup to the management board as Chief Operating Officer Airfreight, Seafreight, and Contract Logistics.
"Under the leadership of Jens Drewes, who assumed the CEO role in June this year, the focus is now on capitalising on this foundation and unlocking the full potential to increase market share across all product areas. The new setup of the global leadership team, which will take effect in January 2025, reflects these strategic ambitions and positions Hellmann for the next phase of expansion."
Hellmann moves over 20 million shipments annually, and reported annual sales of €3.5 billion in 2023 with over 12,000 employees in 57 countries.
