Hellmann Worldwide Logistics has established a new national company in the Republic of Ireland and opened its first Irish branch at Dublin Airport.

"From here, the global full-service provider will offer its entire product portfolio - from air- and sea freight to overland transportation and customs clearance. For Hellmann, entering the Irish market is another important step in its growth strategy," says an official release.

This year, Hellmann has already established additional national companies in Switzerland, Slovakia and Italy, the release added. "Due to the strong development of its economy, Ireland is playing an increasingly important role in the European and global market. Under the leadership of the General Director Niamh Savage, the synergies between Ireland and the U.K., where Hellmann has been represented for many years, are to be fully captured and strategically expanded. Focus will be on the economically strong and often time-critical pharmaceutical and healthcare industries, as well as the electronics sector."
