Evonik selects Kuehne+Nagel to lead logistics in Asia Pacific
Kuehne+Nagel to manage air, sea and road transportation through control tower setup across Asia Pacific.
Kuehne+Nagel has signed a lead logistics provider (LLP) service agreement with Evonik, a global leader in specialty chemicals based in Germany.
The collaboration aims to enhance Evonik’s operational excellence and support the implementation of a comprehensive transport management strategy across Asia Pacific, says an official release from Kuehne+Nagel.
"As the LLP for Evonik in this key market, Kuehne+Nagel will manage air, sea and road transportation across Mainland China, Taiwan, Singapore, South Korea, Japan, New Zealand, Australia, India and South East Asia. With a mandate to handle approximately 70,000 shipments annually, Kuehne+Nagel will leverage its advanced technology solutions and extensive global network to drive efficiency and reduce costs throughout Evonik's supply chain."
By implementing a robust transport management strategy, Kuehne+Nagel aims to drive savings on Evonik's transportation expenditure while enhancing overall operational excellence, the release added.

Evonik is active in more than 100 countries around the world and generated sales of €15.2 billion and an operating profit (adjusted EBITDA) of €2.1 billion in 2024, the release added.
