time:matters expands global network with new courier terminals in Mexico
New facilities cut handling time from six to three hours, boosting speed and reliability for urgent global shipments.

time:matters has expanded its international logistics network by opening two courier terminals in Mexico, marking a key step in enhancing connectivity between Latin America, Europe, and Asia. The new facilities at Mexico City International Airport Benito Juárez (MEX) and Felipe Ángeles International Airport (NLU) were established in partnership with Lufthansa Cargo Servicios Logísticos de México (LCSLM).
The company, known for high-performance logistics, brings two decades of expertise to its Mexican operations. The courier terminals mirror the operational standards of time:matters’ existing facilities in Frankfurt, Munich, and Shanghai. They provide premium handling services for sensitive and urgent shipments, with dedicated processes and qualified personnel reducing handling times for imports and exports from six to three hours.
Bernhard zur Strassen, CEO of time:matters, said: “We are not just opening two new facilities; we are extending our premium logistics DNA to Mexico. By combining local presence with global expertise, we deliver what customers need most: speed, reliability, and flexibility across their supply chains.”
The facilities are designed to serve industries including automotive, semiconductors, and life sciences. Shipments such as spare and service parts, medical equipment, high-value goods, and hazardous materials benefit from tailored documentary and physical handling processes. Around-the-clock operations and personalised data flows to customs brokers and consignees further ensure reliability.
Stefan Fölsing, Managing Director of time:matters Courier Terminals, noted: “The new terminals in Mexico add a strategically important hub to our network in Latin America. With dedicated handling processes and personalised control, we ensure faster and more reliable handling for key industries.”
Frank Nozinsky, Managing Director of Lufthansa Cargo Servicios Logísticos de México, added: “We are excited to partner with time:matters to offer even faster handling services for time-critical and sensitive shipments at MEX and NLU for our valued customers.”
With the addition of Mexico, time:matters now operates courier terminals across Europe, Asia, and Latin America, reinforcing global connectivity and supporting resilient supply chains for urgent and backup transport needs.
