Rhenus invests $20M to expand freight and warehousing in Philippines
Rhenus to expand in Philippines with $20M investment in new HQ, services, and a 2026 built-to-suit warehouse.
The German-based logistics provider Rhenus Group has announced a US$20 million investment to expand its operations in the Philippines, underlining the country’s growing role in Asia-Pacific supply chains. The expansion includes a new head office in Pasay, an enlarged Global Shared Service Center, and a state-of-the-art built-to-suit warehouse scheduled for completion in 2026.
The new head office, located on Bayshore Avenue in Pasay, spans nearly 1,000 sqm and brings together Rhenus Air & Ocean, Rhenus Warehousing Solutions, and Rhenus Freight Intelligence under one roof. Positioned strategically between the sea and the airport, the facility provides improved access to key business districts and major transport routes.
“The opening of our new head office represents a key milestone in our expansion journey to become the leading freight forwarding provider in the market. It is part of our growth roadmap which includes major investments in our freight and warehousing setup. In parallel, Rhenus Warehousing Solutions is planning a new 20,000 sqm built-to-suit warehouse by 2026. Designed to cater to both Dangerous Goods (DG) and non-DG products, the facility will be one of the highest compliant warehouses in the country, complementing the company’s existing five facilities across Manila, Cagayan de Oro, and Davao.

With the Philippines’ freight and logistics market projected to grow from USD 15.26 billion in 2025 to USD 20.41 billion by 2030, Rhenus sees strong potential for further expansion.
