Lödige Industries to showcase advanced automation at Air Cargo SEA
Lödige Industries to unveil new automation, retrofitting and cargo management solutions at Air Cargo Southeast Asia.

As global air cargo volumes rise, automation and digitisation are becoming essential to handle more shipments efficiently. Addressing this growing need, Lödige Industries, a global provider of logistics systems, will present its latest automation and software solutions at Air Cargo Southeast Asia in Singapore.
The trade fair, taking place from 29 to 31 October 2025, will see Lödige Industries showcase its newest innovations at Booth F20. These include advanced retrofitting strategies, automated ULD storage and handling systems, and intelligent cargo terminal management software. The company will also highlight its Cargo Professional Suite and its latest module, Cargo Direct, designed to improve throughput, efficiency, and operational resilience.
Nicholas Tripptree, Managing Director for Asia-Pacific at Lödige Industries, will join the panel discussion “Leveraging Technologies to Streamline Air Cargo Operations” on 30 October at the Centre Stage.
Tripptree noted that integrating automation into existing terminals requires careful planning and technical expertise. “Retrofitting systems into fully automated facilities without major disruption to ongoing operations requires evolving the existing systems or infrastructure step by step. Bringing new and legacy systems together demands experience, a clear roadmap, and long-term vision. That is exactly what Lödige Industries delivers,” he said.
With decades of experience in successful retrofitting projects, the company helps operators modernise terminals efficiently and sustainably. At Saigon Cargo Service Corporation (SCSC), Lödige Industries installed a 20-foot Elevating Transfer Vehicle (ETV) and storage system without interrupting operations. In China and Hong Kong, it successfully integrated systems such as the “Lift & Run” and ULD Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) into existing facilities.
Its Cargo Professional Suite ensures seamless coordination across all systems, while the new Cargo Direct module enables dynamic terminal control. The software considers every operational aspect, from facility layout and staffing levels to cargo-specific data like air waybills, X-ray screening, and weighing.
“Our mission is to empower customers to optimise their existing space and resources while increasing productivity. With the right combination of hardware and software, we help cargo terminal operators remain competitive and build scalable foundations for future growth,” added Tripptree.
