Flexport has unveiled its new Customs Technology Suite, a set of AI and technology tools designed to help businesses manage tariffs, reduce costs, and stay compliant amid rising trade tensions and economic uncertainty. The suite is part of Flexport’s Fall 2025 Technology Release, which introduces more than 25 new technology and AI products aimed at easing supply chain volatility.

The suite provides businesses with real-time visibility into tariffs, duty rates, and regulatory changes. Key tools include Tariff Simulator Pro, which monitors tariff rate changes and landed costs across entire product catalogues, and Customs Analysis, an AI platform that reviews past U.S. customs entries to identify compliance risks and cost-saving opportunities. Other offerings include Compliance Audit, Flexport Intelligence & Insights Builder, and an upgraded Enhanced Duty Drawback system that has delivered over $700 million in refunds and savings for more than 300 customers.

Beyond customs, Flexport has launched tools to reduce shipping costs and protect margins. Demurrage & Detention Defender flags containers at risk of extra fees, allowing businesses to act early and avoid charges. The publicly available Flexport Rate Explorer enables users to compare freight rates quickly and gain a full view of landed costs, improving transparency.

“Global trade is so important and yet it’s constantly slowed down by complexity, opacity, and inefficiencies,” said Ryan Petersen, Founder and CEO of Flexport. “Our goal is to make logistics as simple and reliable as flipping a light switch. With these new technologies, businesses can focus less on navigating tariffs, penalties, and hidden fees, and more on creating amazing products and driving growth.”

Flexport’s new suite reinforces the company’s vision of a fully autonomous supply chain, where goods move smoothly across borders with minimal friction. Its integrated platform currently supports thousands of businesses worldwide, from startups to Fortune 500 companies.
