DHL Supply Chain expands healthcare logistics with Terumo
DHL Supply Chain Philippines has launched new warehousing operations in Parañaque, supporting Terumo's medical storage and distribution across the Philippines.

DHL Supply Chain Philippines has partnered with Terumo Philippines to provide expanded warehousing and logistics services. Operations began in March 2026 at DHL Supply Chain's facility in Parañaque, Metro Manila. The collaboration brings together Terumo's position in healthcare with DHL's expertise in Life Science and Healthcare logistics, aiming to maintain high standards of product integrity and service quality.
Terumo Philippines is a major player in the country's healthcare industry. It supplies advanced medical devices and healthcare solutions, with a focus on cardiovascular and blood management technologies, supporting hospitals and healthcare professionals across the country in patient care.
The Philippines partnership forms part of a wider strategic relationship between DHL and Terumo across several markets in Asia Pacific. Healthcare is a key growth area for DHL Group, represented through DHL Health Logistics, the Group's sector brand for Life Sciences and Healthcare.
DHL has committed €2 billion in global investment towards quality-compliant healthcare infrastructure, technology and people. This is part of its wider push to expand capabilities and meet growing demand for specialised healthcare logistics. The partnership brings together DHL Supply Chain's quality-compliant contract logistics and regional distribution strength with Terumo's leadership in cardiovascular healthcare products. It also combines DHL Supply Chain's operational expertise with the wider healthcare capabilities of DHL Health Logistics to support patients across the region.
Bevan Williams, Country Managing Director of DHL Supply Chain Philippines, said the partnership reflected the company's continued commitment to strengthening its capabilities in Life Science and Healthcare logistics, a sector where quality, compliance and product integrity are critical. He said that as demand for specialised healthcare logistics grows, the company remains focused on building the capabilities needed to support industry leaders like Terumo and ensure the safe, efficient movement of essential medical products.
Under the partnership, DHL Supply Chain Philippines provides healthcare logistics solutions tailored to the specific requirements of medical device handling. This includes a dedicated ambient storage facility, which stores products under proper conditions to preserve quality and keep them ready for distribution when needed.
The facility also has a temperature-controlled storage area for specific product classes, further strengthening compliance and healthcare standards, and ensuring product integrity throughout the supply chain.
To improve visibility, operational efficiency and productivity, both companies are currently implementing end-to-end system integration. This will provide real-time visibility of inventory, improve data accuracy, and support seamless coordination between the two organisations.
Melissa Jauregui, Head of Supply Chain at Terumo Marketing Philippines, said TMPI selected DHL Supply Chain Philippines following a competitive evaluation process. She said DHL demonstrated the strongest overall value proposition, combining proven logistics expertise, advanced capabilities and scalable solutions aligned with TMPI's long-term supply chain objectives. She added that the company looks forward to a strong partnership that will further enhance operational excellence and support its continued growth.
Through the partnership, Terumo Philippines and DHL Supply Chain Philippines aim to set new standards in healthcare logistics, reinforcing their shared commitment to improving patient care across the country.
