CHI Cargo onboards SF Airlines, expands Germany network
CHI adds SF Airlines in Frankfurt, boosts digital handling and e-commerce reach across German airports.

CHI Cargo Group has taken a significant step in its growth journey by onboarding SF Airlines as a new customer at its Frankfurt air cargo handling facility. The partnership marks a strategic milestone for CHI, which continues to cement its presence as a full-service logistics provider in the European air cargo landscape.
“SF Airlines’ partnership with CHI is a signal to the industry: the future of logistics isn’t just about moving cargo – it’s about redefining the velocity of airport dwell times,” said Kai Domscheit, CEO of CHI Cargo Group. “Together, we’re building an ecosystem where speed, reliability, and adaptability are no longer competitive edges – they’re the baseline.”
SF Airlines, the aviation arm of China’s SF Express, is known for its relentless focus on speed and service reliability. Peter Huang, Vice President of SF Airlines, added: “This partnership is about creating a new model for air cargo timeliness and service guarantees – showing how collaboration can redefine logistics efficiency.”
The onboarding of SF Airlines is backed by CHI’s broader digitalisation strategy and customer-centric service model, which have helped it secure several new key accounts in recent months. One such innovation is its “Direct Delivery” service, which eliminates up to 24 hours from the traditional cargo lead time.
“Our tailor-made solutions are setting new benchmarks in air cargo handling,” said Dominik Misskampf, Managing Director of CHI Aviation Handling GmbH. “It’s about bringing innovation to the tarmac, not just the warehouse.”
Beyond Frankfurt, CHI is expanding its operational footprint through strategic joint ventures with airport operators. Recent partnerships with Munich and Nuremberg airports have helped the company deepen its presence in southern Germany.
In addition to airline handling, CHI offers integrated e-commerce logistics, combining customs clearance, ground handling, and trucking into a single solution. Global players, including Temu, are already leveraging CHI’s services across key logistics hubs such as Frankfurt, Leipzig, and Cologne.
As air cargo becomes increasingly time-sensitive and digitised, CHI’s momentum with SF Airlines and other recent expansions position the company as one of the emerging forces shaping next-gen logistics in Europe.
