American Airlines Cargo has announced its 2025/2026 winter widebody schedule, unveiling new routes and frequency increases across Latin America, the Pacific, and the Atlantic. The update marks the carrier’s highest widebody capacity from Latin America since 2022, strengthening its global freight network and connectivity.

From Latin America, American is expanding operations with additional flights and new routes. The airline will introduce a fourth daily Boeing 777-300ER flight between Miami International Airport (MIA) and Buenos Aires Ezeiza International Airport (EZE). It will also launch daily Boeing 787 services from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) to both Rio de Janeiro Galeão International Airport (GIG) and EZE, along with daily service from John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to GIG. These developments highlight American’s continued investment in Latin American markets.

Across the Pacific, American will enhance connectivity to Oceania with new service from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to Brisbane Airport (BNE). The airline will also reinstate daily flights from DFW to both BNE and Auckland International Airport (AKL), operated by Boeing 787-9 and 787-8 aircraft respectively, reinforcing its transpacific network.

In the transatlantic region, American will launch daily flights from MIA to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG), while domestic connectivity will improve with new service between Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) and Honolulu (HNL). This route will also support interline connections to the Asia-Pacific region.

Roger Samways, Vice President of Commercial for American Airlines Cargo, said, “We are entering this season with new routes, increased frequencies and the highest widebody capacity out of Latin America since 2022 to offer our customers more solutions for connecting freight across the world. From Latin America to the Pacific and across the Atlantic, we’re strategically expanding our widebody network to meet growing demand and provide greater cargo capacity on key global trade lanes.”
