Air Canada and Air Canada Cargo have introduced a fully redesigned eBooking platform aimed at transforming the way customers book and manage shipments online. The new platform emphasizes user-friendliness, efficiency, and seamless digital interaction, marking another milestone in Air Canada Cargo’s ongoing digitalization strategy.

The revamped eBooking system offers a modernized interface designed to simplify booking processes, while providing users with dynamic booking flows, real-time feedback, and validation to reduce errors. According to Matthieu Casey, Managing Director – Commercial at Air Canada Cargo, the upgraded experience is set to redefine how customers engage with the airline’s cargo services.

“We are excited to reveal our updated eBooking experience, which provides a more user-friendly interface and a smoother experience for our customers booking their cargo online. With the ability to get real-time feedback and validation, easily create batch bookings, e-AWB, submit release letters, and more, this new platform will transform the customer experience and is part of Air Canada Cargo’s ongoing digitalization,” Casey stated.

Among the platform’s notable enhancements are a redesigned dashboard for instant shipment tracking, fast multi-booking functionality for batch reservations, and automated confirmation for general cargo shipments up to 50 kg. Customers can also save bookings as templates for quick rebooking and receive tracking notifications directly via email. Additional features include e-AWB creation, editing of bookings, and the ability to manage shipper and consignee information seamlessly.

By integrating tools such as feedback submission directly from the dashboard and streamlined release letter handling, the new platform significantly reduces manual processes and errors. The move aligns with Air Canada Cargo’s commitment to enhancing digital services, providing customers with a faster, more intuitive booking experience.
