April 10, 2018: Leading aircraft leasing company Air Lease Corporation (ALC), will lease a Rolls-Royce Trent 7000-powered Airbus A330-900neo aircraft to Hi Fly in June 2019.

This is according to a recently signed medium-term lease agreement between ALC and Hi Fly.

“ALC is pleased to announce the A330-900neo lease placement to Hi Fly, which is a new customer for the ALC family,” said Marc Baer, executive vice president, Air Lease Corporation (ALC).

“The investment to procure an additional A330-900neo aircraft is in line with Hi Fly’s aim to maintain a modern and versatile fleet, and stay competitive in the market,” said Baer.

The new Airbus A330-900neo is a 380 seater passenger aircraft that can fly 7,000 statute miles nonstop, with economic and operational efficiency, which is unmatched compared to the current generation A330s.

Paulo Mirpuri, president and CEO, Hi Fly said: “We are delighted to start the renewal of our widebody fleet with the first brand new A330-900neo coming from ALC. The A330neo is a perfect aircraft for Hi Fly, with its new technology, modern interior and the new super-efficient Rolls Royce Trent 7000 engines, which will respond well for our business needs, as well as for our environmental concerns.”
