CEVA Logistics collaborates with BestSecret for fulfillment center in Poland

CEVA Logistics connects European consumers with premium and luxury fashion brands through a long-term relationship with BestSecret, a major European members-only online destination for premium and luxury off-price clothes. CEVA will oversee logistics and operations at a new 80,000-square-meter eCommerce fulfillment facility in Sulechów, Poland.
BestSecret's new eCommerce fulfillment center will be in Sulechów, Poland's Lubuskie Province, close to the German border. The facility is scheduled to open in the spring of 2023. CEVA's on-site team will work with BestSecret to handle designer clothing from about 3,000 different labels and transport them to BestSecret clients across Europe.
Greenfield Facility Designed for Efficiency, Future Growth
The two firms work closely together to build and launch the fulfillment facility. Acceptance of incoming items, quality control, storage of goods, selecting and delivering client orders throughout Europe, sending goods to BestSecret shops, and other value-added services will be part of CEVA's overall administration of the fulfillment center activities.
The 80,000-square-meter greenfield fulfillment complex will include a large number of loading docks. The building will be outfitted with a variety of packing machinery on the inside. Overall, the facility is designed to provide complete flexibility in terms of extending or adding additional functions in response to market or operational demands.
State-of-the-art automation technologies, such as a tote conveyor system and a dynamic tote buffer, will help the fulfillment center's throughput and efficiency. A five-story pick tower will be included in the storage area.
CEVA and BestSecret have collaborated to create a modular framework that will allow operations to expand as quickly as possible to accommodate BestSecret's rapid expansion. The Sulechów fulfillment facility's capacity is planned to rise to at least 1.5 times that of the present BestSecret fulfillment center in Germany.
