Chapman Freeborn appoints Claire Geary as Group Marketing Director
Geary will lead the marketing team with a focus on brand, marketing communications, PR and events
Chapman Freeborn, the global air charter specialist and part of Avia Solutions Group, has appointed Claire Geary as Group Marketing Director, a new position within the company.
Geary joins the business following two years as Marketing Director, EMEA with Cirium, prior to which she held marketing management positions at South African Airways in Africa, and was Manager of Corporate Communications, Marketing and Brand at Emirates Airline, based in the Middle East.
Geary will lead the marketing team with a focus on brand, marketing communications, PR and events, says an official release. She will work closely with the Chapman Freeborn executive committee, regional Presidents and parent company, Avia Solutions Group, to design, formulate and implement a marketing strategy that drives revenue.

Geary will report to Group CCO Neil Dursley. “I’m delighted that we have appointed Claire to assist the marketing team in taking the Chapman Freeborn Group to the next level," says Dursley. "With her decades of aviation knowledge and expertise in multiple countries, we are all very excited with this development. I am confident that she will make a big impact on our marketing and communications efforts throughout the Group and across our sector, especially during the year of our 50th anniversary.”
...appoints Scott Collier as President – ACMI Leasing
Chapman Freeborn has appointed Scott Collier as President – ACMI Leasing to lead the newly-formed global ACMI department.
Collier brings almost three decades of industry experience to Chapman Freeborn from across all areas of the industry from airline operations, commercial sectors and tour operating, to running his own successful aircraft leasing company, says an official release.
“I am delighted to join Chapman Freeborn, especially during the year of their 50th anniversary," says Collier. "With the truly global reach and ancillary services that we are able to offer our airline partners at Chapman Freeborn, this is a unique opportunity and I am looking forward to helping the company to achieve their growth goals over the coming years.”
Scott will report to CEO Eric Erbacher. “I wish Scott a very warm welcome to the Chapman Freeborn family," says Erbacher. "He brings with him insight from many corners of the aviation industry, which will be invaluable when applied to our ACMI departments across the world.
