CEVA, BYD sign three-year global logistics MoU

CEVA Logistics, a leading global third-party logistics provider, has signed a three-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with BYD Group, the world's largest electric vehicle manufacturer, in Marseille to strengthen their long-term collaboration in global automotive logistics.

The new MoU builds on the companies' existing partnership, expanding collaboration to deliver customised end-to-end logistics solutions that support BYD's global growth. The agreement covers route planning, capacity allocation, warehousing and distribution, customs coordination, local operations, end-to-end delivery management, and the development of low-carbon logistics solutions. It combines BYD's presence across six continents and more than 100 countries with CEVA Logistics' global network, local expertise, and integrated logistics capabilities.

The expanded partnership comes as BYD shifts its international strategy from exporting finished vehicles to establishing a broader global manufacturing footprint. In response, CEVA has broadened its support to include finished vehicle logistics, inbound manufacturing logistics, overseas distribution, after-sales services, and plant supply continuity. Leveraging its global network and local execution capabilities, CEVA will also help strengthen BYD's local supply chains and support the expansion of its automotive, battery, energy storage, and automotive electronics businesses.
