Hellmann Worldwide Logistics acquires all shares in HPL Apollo

Hellmann Worldwide Logistics has acquired all shares in HPL Apollo, its perishable logistics joint venture previously co-owned with Mercury Aviation.

The acquisition follows 12 years of collaboration between Hellmann and Mercury Aviation. Ivo Skorin, who has been with HPL Apollo since 2012, will continue as managing director, ensuring a smooth transition into Hellmann operations.

HPL Apollo specialises in the transportation of perishable goods by air, sea, and road. The company is headquartered in Los Angeles.

Hellmann has operated in the Americas for decades, with a presence in established markets such as Peru, Mexico, Brazil, and Chile. The company plans to expand its presence in the USA and enter new markets in Colombia, Ecuador, and Central America.

Jens Drewes, CEO of Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, said, "We are committed to expanding internationally, with North America being a key focus."
