VietJet Air Cargo transported 98 relief shipments carrying more than 165 tonnes of essential goods to flood-hit central Vietnam between 21 and 26 November, said Nelson Wu, Managing Director at VietJet Cargo. He noted that the entire effort was possible only because of the generosity and compassion shown by people across the country who stepped forward to help.

Wu said VietJet teams across airport stations worked closely with communities, donors and logistics partners over the past few days to move urgently needed supplies to affected areas. He expressed deep gratitude to every individual, organisation and partner who contributed resources, coordinated donations or helped speed up transport. According to him, many logistics partners also supported the effort without hesitation to ensure goods reached families in need as quickly as possible.

Authorities earlier confirmed that central Vietnam had been hit by severe flooding caused by continuous and heavy rainfall, which led to widespread damage across several provinces. Government updates reported tens of thousands of homes inundated, major transport links disrupted and emergency crews deployed to restore access and assist communities. Local and national agencies continue to work on stabilising conditions as water levels slowly recede.

Wu said moments like this highlight the strength and kindness within the community, adding that VietJet Air Cargo hopes the situation improves soon so daily life can return to normal.
