Menzies Aviation launches quick pay for faster cargo release

Menzies Aviation has launched Quick Pay, a new payment capability on its Menzies Aviation Cargo Handling (MACH) customer portal, aimed at simplifying cargo payments and accelerating cargo release for customers.

Developed in partnership with PayCargo, Quick Pay allows cargo customers to view charges associated with an Air Waybill (AWB) and make payments directly through the PayCargo platform. Customers can use an existing PayCargo account or opt for guest checkout, reducing manual payment processes and eliminating the need to create an account before completing a transaction.

The new feature is designed to improve efficiency at a critical stage of the air cargo journey, helping customers complete payments faster and facilitate the timely release of shipments.

Quick Pay adds to the range of digital services available through the MACH portal, which provides customers with greater visibility and control over their cargo. The platform also enables users to track shipments using an AWB reference and access information on Menzies Aviation’s global cargo network.

Since its launch in 2023, MACH has been deployed across 49 airports and has processed more than 1.6 million air waybills.

Menzies Aviation said it plans to introduce further capabilities on the platform to simplify the customer experience, enhance shipment visibility and improve cargo handling efficiency across its global network.

Quick Pay is part of Menzies Aviation’s broader digital strategy to enhance the customer experience, streamline operations and support frontline teams. The company’s global cargo network includes 73 warehouses and 79 freighter handling locations, handling more than 2.4 million tonnes of cargo annually.
