LATAM Cargo will launch a direct Brussels–São José dos Campos freighter route starting October 2, 2025, using its Boeing 767 freighter, with one weekly flight linking Europe to São Paulo’s industrial hub.

The carrier said the new route is part of its expansion plan, aiming for 15 weekly flights between Europe and South America to strengthen connectivity. This expansion plan was announced by LATAM Cargo Group in May this year.

Jorge Carretero, Sales Director Central Europe at LATAM Airlines, said in a LinkedIn post that until now, cargo bound for São José dos Campos (SJK) had to arrive via São Paulo (GRU) or Viracopos International Airport (VCP), adding road transfers and complexity. With the new connection, the airline can offer customers shorter transit times, greater reliability, and lower logistics costs.

“With this launch, we reinforce our commitment to listening to our customers in Europe, diversifying options, and consolidating LATAM Cargo as the operator with the most flexible and robust network between both continents. With this new route, we continue connecting continents and supporting our customers with smarter, more seamless solutions,” says Carretero.

The new link supports the transport of industrial, automotive, and consumer cargo.

“This is another example of how we, at LATAM Cargo, continue to seek to bring opportunities closer. Many thanks to our customers, airports, and stakeholders who keep trusting in us,” said Matías E. Cortina, VP Commercial EMEA, in his LinkedIn post.

LATAM Airlines Group has a fleet of 17 Boeing 767 freighters, according to Planespotters.net.
