Kenya Airways has appointed Absolom Ngari as the Head of Cargo Commercial and Global Sales, effective January 5, 2026. He has replaced Peter Musola, who has transitioned from his cargo role to become Country Manager of Ghana for Kenya Airways.
KQ’s Cargo Director, Fitsum Abadi Gebrehawari, confirmed the development and called the appointment a ‘replacement with a wider scope.’
Ngari has 19 years of experience in air cargo management, strategy, and commercial leadership, with most recently serving as General Manager, Africa region for Sharaf Group. He has held senior positions at AB Africa Aviation Consultancy, Aero Africa, Global Focus Logistics, Turkish Airlines Cargo, TAL Aviation Cargo, Africa Direct, Africa Potential Consulting, and Swissport Cargo Services.
