Kalitta Air has resumed cargo operations between Brussels and Cincinnati on behalf of DHL Express, strengthening Brussels Airport’s cargo network. The service, which restarted earlier this week, will operate six flights per week.
The flights are operated using Boeing 777 Freighter aircraft, which Brussels Airport described as the most fuel-efficient cargo aircraft currently in service. The route has a strong focus on express shipments, particularly pharmaceuticals and life sciences cargo.
Brussels Airport said the resumed service expands Kalitta Air’s presence at the airport and supports DHL Express’s global express network. The airport highlighted its role as the European gateway for pharmaceutical and life sciences cargo.
According to Brussels Airport, the connection further strengthens its position as a leading cargo hub.
