JAS signs deal to acquire UK-based Pentagon Freight Services
The acquisition is expected to close in the second half of 2025, pending regulatory approval.;
JAS, a logistics company based in Atlanta, signed a Share Purchase Agreement on July 27 to acquire Pentagon Freight Services, a UK-headquartered freight forwarding and logistics firm. The acquisition is expected to close in the second half of 2025, pending regulatory approval. The deal was signed by Marco Rebuffi, CEO and President of JAS, and Ashley Taylor, Group CEO of Pentagon. The acquisition aims to expand JAS’s services in the oil and gas, marine, construction, and energy sectors.

Pentagon employs more than 1,200 people and operates 65 offices globally. The company specialises in freight forwarding, project logistics, and ship agency services. JAS said the acquisition will support its goal of offering tailored logistics solutions across industries.
JAS was founded in Milan in 1978 and is now based in Atlanta. It operates in more than 100 countries. Pentagon has served the oil and gas and energy sectors for over 50 years.
