GEODIS has selected air cargo intelligence solutions from Rotate to strengthen its global air freight analytics and strategic planning, as the logistics provider continues to invest in more predictive and data-driven decision-making across its international air network.

The move will see GEODIS adopt Rotate’s Live Capacity and Air Demand products, giving the company a broader view of global air cargo capacity and demand at a time when the market is facing rapid changes influenced by geopolitical developments, supply chain disruptions, and the rise of commodities such as high-tech products and semiconductors.

Rotate’s Live Capacity solution provides hourly insights into global air cargo supply using real-time aircraft positioning data. It covers all carriers, airports and flown flights, including passenger bellyhold capacity, freighters and charter operations, giving GEODIS a flight-level view of available air cargo capacity worldwide. The solution also includes historical data dating back to 2018, allowing the company to monitor structural market changes over time.

The Air Demand product complements this by offering market intelligence based on trade data, traffic flows and other external sources. It provides volume insights across major trade lanes, including information on more than 5,000 commodities and key e-commerce lanes. Updated monthly, the product includes historical data dating back to 2010 to help GEODIS understand changing demand patterns and identify emerging commercial opportunities.

Ryan Keyrouse, Cofounder and CEO of Rotate, said the partnership would help strengthen GEODIS’ ability to turn complex data into actionable insights and support faster, more informed decisions across its global air freight network.

Casper Hedemann said the collaboration has helped GEODIS strengthen its market insights and operational approach, adding that the partnership combines data capabilities with close cooperation to support a more data-driven business strategy.
