Freightos, the Nasdaq-listed global freight booking and payment platform, has announced a partnership with Megacap Aviation Service, a leading General Sales Agent (GSA) specialising in China trade lanes. The collaboration will provide more than 5,000 freight forwarders using WebCargo by Freightos with digital access to cargo capacity from 13 airlines in Megacap’s portfolio, starting with Ethiopian Airlines, Africa’s largest cargo network operator.

The partnership will later extend to other major airlines across Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas. The integration enables real-time access to capacity, pricing, and booking, beginning with Ethiopian Airlines, followed by additional carriers including Aeromexico.

Freightos said the move aligns with its goal to deliver transparency and instant access to rates and capacity as Asia’s trade growth, particularly from China continues to drive global freight demand. The platform aims to support the continued development of China and the wider Asian region by empowering logistics stakeholders with digital tools.

Zvi Schreiber, CEO at Freightos, said WebCargo by Freightos combines “best of breed capacity options,” making global trade more efficient, transparent, and accessible for all supply chain stakeholders. He added that through the partnership, forwarders will gain instant digital access to 13 carriers, enabling them to extend seamless capacity from Asia to enterprise shippers via Freightos Enterprise.

Megacap Aviation, which represents multiple international carriers in Asia, said the partnership reflects its focus on digitalising logistics distribution in emerging markets. Managing Director Jerry Xu (Xu Zheng) said the collaboration would deliver practical results in digital distribution across Asia, Latin America, and Africa.

He added that by using WebCargo by Freightos, clients will be able to access real-time logistics prices, book services instantly, and gain full visibility into logistics operations. Xu said Megacap aims to explore AI-driven operations through the partnership to better serve partner airlines and create new growth opportunities across key trade corridors.
