Frankfurt to host 11th air cargo conference

Air Cargo Community Frankfurt will host the 11th Air Cargo Conference on September 2 and 3 at the Congress Center Messe Frankfurt, bringing together key stakeholders from the international air cargo industry.

The two-day event is expected to attract industry decision-makers, experts and emerging professionals to discuss current challenges, global market developments and future opportunities shaping the air cargo sector.

The conference will feature a practical, industry-focused programme, including keynote addresses from leaders across business, industry and academia. Panel discussions will examine global perspectives on air cargo competitiveness and resilience, while real-world case studies will highlight the importance of collaboration in security-critical areas.

The challenges facing the air cargo industry can only be solved through close cooperation. To that end, we’re bringing together leading figures from the industry in one place.”

The conference programme will focus on several key issues shaping the future of air cargo. Sessions will explore the growing transcontinental airport and economic partnerships between India and Frankfurt and their significance for global trade. A C-level airline panel featuring executives from Lufthansa Cargo, Cathay Cargo, Ethiopian Airlines, LATAM Cargo and Delta Air Lines will examine the competitiveness and resilience of the global air cargo industry.

Other sessions will address shippers’ evolving logistics requirements, the practical role of AI and robotics in air freight, and the importance of strong partnerships in handling high-security shipments.

The programme will also feature startup pitches focused on logistics and air freight as part of the Innovation Award by Haus61 and Lufthansa Cargo AG. The session will give emerging companies a platform to showcase innovative solutions and technologies aimed at shaping the future of the air cargo industry.

Following the success of its 10th anniversary edition at Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt, the conference will move to the Congress Center Messe Frankfurt for this year’s event.

The Air Cargo Community Frankfurt is a network of leading companies, institutions and industry associations working to strengthen the air cargo sector at Frankfurt Airport. With around 100 members representing the entire air cargo value chain, the community drives strategic joint projects and brings industry experts together through cross-company working groups to shape the future of air freight at Frankfurt Airport.
