Frankfurt Airport’s air cargo volumes remain stable in October

Frankfurt Airport (FRA) maintained stable air cargo performance in October 2025, with total cargo volumes, comprising airfreight and airmail, recorded at 179,543 metric tonnes. The figure represents a marginal decline of 0.1% year-on-year, indicating steady trade activity through one of Europe’s major logistics hubs.

Aircraft movements at Frankfurt grew by 6.6% to 42,478 take-offs and landings, while accumulated maximum take-off weights rose by 3.7% to approximately 2.6 million metric tonnes.

Globally, the Fraport Group continues to operate across four continents with activities at 29 airports. In fiscal year 2024, its airports collectively handled around 2.1 million metric tonnes of cargo and more than 174 million passengers.
