Ezhou Airport has launched a new international cargo route to Spain. An A330 freighter, flight 8S1986, departed Ezhou Huahu International Airport for Zaragoza, Spain, at 9:58 p.m. on October 2, officially launching the regular direct cargo route between the two cities.

Operated by the Huahu Airport International Platform under Wuhan Financial Holdings Changmao, this route is Huahu Airport’s fifth international cargo service of the year, following Milan, Paris, Bangkok, and Clark/Manila. It also marks the airport’s 109th cargo route overall, including 48 international services.

Operated by Mexican cargo carrier mas, the flight carried 62 tonnes of finished footwear and apparel from domestic and international fashion brands.

The cargo was collected and declared in Ezhou, cleared by Ezhou Customs, and then transported to Spain for distribution.

According to Huahu Airport officials, the launch of this route is a key outcome of Wuhan Financial Holdings Group’s visit to Spain with the provincial commercial delegation to promote trade and economic cooperation.
