ECS Group has appointed its subsidiary, Globe Air Cargo Cambodia, as the GSA (General Sales Agent) for Air Premia in Cambodia and Myanmar. The partnership aims to strengthen ECS Group’s operations in Southeast Asia by connecting export-driven markets to key international destinations.

Under the agreement, cargo from Cambodia and Myanmar will be routed through Bangkok (BKK), leveraging Air Premia’s Boeing 787 operations. These flights offer an estimated cargo capacity of 15 to 18 tonnes per flight and connect to destinations such as Seoul (ICN), Tokyo Narita (NRT), and major U.S. airports including Los Angeles (LAX), San Francisco (SFO), and Newark (EWR). Interline connections will support efficient cargo movement to and from the BKK gateway.

Cambodia’s exports will primarily include ready-made garments and electronic parts, while Myanmar will contribute textiles and agricultural produce. Air Premia also plans to carry inbound perishables such as mangoes as part of its cargo strategy.

"This partnership with Air Premia highlights our ability to deliver agile, market-specific solutions in rapidly growing regions," said Jean Ceccaldi, CEO of ECS Group. "Our team at Globe Air Cargo Cambodia is fully aligned with Air Premia’s goals, and we are confident in achieving strong commercial results across both markets."

The collaboration will utilise ECS Group’s CargoTech digital suite to enhance cargo operations. The tools include dynamic pricing, data analytics, booking optimisation, and real-time performance tracking, aiming to improve process efficiency and visibility.

“Cambodia and Myanmar are high-potential, export-driven markets. Air Premia’s network gives local customers the long-haul reach they need. We’re excited to unlock new opportunities and further reinforce ECS Group’s footprint in Asia,” said Noor Azizah, Regional VP Asia Pacific (excluding China) at ECS Group.

This appointment is part of ECS Group’s broader strategy to expand its cargo presence in emerging markets through reliable service partnerships and digital innovation.
