dnata appoints Gilles Pettolaz as head of operations for Geneva

dnata, a global air and travel services provider, announced the appointment of Gilles Pettolaz as Head of Operations in Geneva, Switzerland.

In his new role, Pettolaz will oversee dnata’s operations including ramp, cargo and passenger services at Geneva Airport. He will manage a team of 600 employees, ensuring consistent high quality and safe services for more than 30 airline customers and their passengers. Pettolaz’ appointment is effective immediately, according to a press release from dnata.

Pettolaz has decades of experience in various senior roles across the transport, security, F&B, hospitality and technology sectors. His previous positions include Operations Director at SV Group, a hospitality and catering group in the DACH region, Regional Operations Manager at Geneva Airport- at SSP Group, a global operator of food and beverage outlets, and Managing Director for RATP Dev- Switzerland, a public transport company, the release added.
