DHL Express has signed a new Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) agreement with Phillips 66, securing more than 240,000 metric tonnes of fuel over a three-year period. The agreement is expected to reduce around 737,000 metric tonnes of lifecycle emissions.

The SAF supply will support DHL Express’ GoGreen Plus programme and help customers lower their Scope 3 emissions associated with air transport. The agreement also contributes to the company’s stated pathway towards achieving net-zero emissions by 2050.

The development was shared by Ben McLean, Head of eCommerce, Commercial Programmes and Sustainability Lead at DHL Express UAE, in a LinkedIn post published five days ago.
