cargo-partner has expanded its charter programme with the launch of a Hong Kong Consol service linking Hong Kong with Central and Eastern Europe. The logistics provider now operates three weekly charter flights from Hong Kong to Budapest and Warsaw, offering secured capacity and express handling for time-critical shipments moving from Hong Kong and mainland China into Europe.

The service is designed to meet the requirements of the automotive and electronics sectors, where production cycles depend on predictable transit times. Operating in partnership with a premium carrier, the programme guarantees space availability during peak periods. It includes pre-carriage from locations across Hong Kong and China and last-mile delivery to destinations throughout Europe.

“Our new Hong Kong Consol service is a direct response to our customers’ need for fast, reliable, and secure transport solutions for their most sensitive cargo,” said Patrick Petznek, Corporate Product Manager Air Cargo at cargo-partner. “In industries where every hour counts, this strategic enhancement to our airfreight portfolio provides a crucial competitive advantage, ensuring that our clients’ supply chains remain resilient and efficient.”

The launch reflects an increase in Europe-bound cargo flows from Asia, including China, Hong Kong, India, Vietnam, Taiwan and Thailand, all served by cargo-partner's consolidation network. The company operates close to 100 weekly consolidations to global destinations with end-to-end coverage that includes pre-carriage and last-mile delivery. These services are supported by gateway hubs in Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Shanghai and Beijing, as well as Vienna, Budapest and Frankfurt.

cargo-partner is also strengthening its focus on the India-Europe corridor, where it has operated since 2006. The recent EU-India trade agreement has underscored the growing importance of this lane. Multiple weekly airfreight services connect Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Bangalore with European hubs, positioning the company to support customers seeking to expand trade flows between the regions.

Beyond charter capacity, cargo-partner offers a range of airfreight solutions structured around transit time and cost requirements, including 'Economy' and 'Priority' services. For urgent movements, the company’s 'Emergency' team provides next-flight-out, onboard courier and charter options with round-the-clock monitoring and shipment supervision.

cargo-partner, part of Nippon Express Holdings, ranks among the world’s leading airfreight providers and continues to expand its charter network and gateway infrastructure to support end-to-end logistics requirements across global supply chains.
