AISATS appoints Salim Chaudhary as Chief Operations Officer
He earlier led airport operations at Air India and played a key role in major industry mergers, including Air India–Vistara.
Air India SATS Airport Services (AISATS) has appointed Salim Chaudhary as its new Chief Operations Officer.
Before joining AISATS, Chaudhary served as Head – Airport Operations India and Overseas at Air India. He has held roles across the hospitality and aviation sectors, moving from a five-star hotel environment to a full-service airline.
In aviation, Chaudhary has experience working with both low-cost and full-service carrier models across several international markets. This exposure has helped him apply global operational practices across different business formats.
He has also been involved in major mergers in the Indian aviation sector, including the Air India–Vistara merger, contributing to the integration of two established airline brands. AISATS said it looks forward to his leadership as the company continues its focus on growth and service excellence.
