WiseTech Global has officially completed its acquisition of U.S.-based e2open for $2.1 billion, paid fully in cash and funded through a new syndicated debt facility. The deal, previously announced in May 2025, brings together two major players in logistics and trade technology.

The acquisition marks a significant move for WiseTech, known for its CargoWise software, as it broadens its reach beyond logistics service providers. With e2open’s cloud-based trade and supply chain solutions, WiseTech will now serve a wider range of customers, including shippers, manufacturers, importers, exporters, and brand owners across global and domestic markets.

WiseTech CEO Zubin Appoo said the acquisition opens up a much larger global market with minimal product overlap. He emphasised that combining the strengths of both companies would drive digital transformation across the entire supply chain, connecting all parties in one integrated system and reducing manual processes.

Appoo highlighted the goal of creating a fully connected environment from order to fulfilment across all transport modes and borders. He also noted that support for existing customers of both companies would continue without disruption.

e2open CEO Andrew Appel described the deal as a key milestone in e2open’s transformation and expressed confidence in the future of the combined company. He praised the efforts of the e2open team and said the acquisition would bring more opportunities for customers and employees alike.

Further updates, including guidance for the 2026 financial year, will be shared during WiseTech’s FY25 Results Briefing on August 27, 2025.
