WFS secures Emirates SkyCargo contract at Miami airport
WFS will handle Emirates’ Boeing 777 and 747 freighter operations from the airline’s facility at MIA.

Worldwide Flight Services (WFS), a SATS company, has signed a three-year contract with Emirates SkyCargo to provide cargo handling, ramp, and mail services at Miami International Airport (MIA) starting July 14, 2025.
Under the agreement, WFS will handle Emirates’ Boeing 777 and 747 freighter operations from the airline’s facility at Building 702 at MIA. The new contract expands the companies’ partnership in North America, where WFS already supports Emirates SkyCargo at Los Angeles, Seattle-Tacoma, John F. Kennedy, George W. José Canales, SVP, Commercial & Business Development, Americas at WFS, said, “WFS is honoured to expand our partnership with Emirates SkyCargo to include Miami, a strategic gateway connecting North America with Latin America and the Caribbean. This selection reinforces our commitment to delivering exceptional service quality and operational reliability that supports Emirates SkyCargo’s global cargo network.”
The agreement aims to maintain operational consistency and high service standards for Emirates SkyCargo’s key destinations while strengthening its logistics reach in the Americas.
