TIACA partners with HAUS61 to boost air cargo innovation
TIACA’s partnership with HAUS61 aims to connect industry leaders and start-ups to drive innovation and growth.

The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA) and HAUS61 have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance collaboration and drive innovation, entrepreneurship, and start-up growth in the global air cargo and logistics sector.
This partnership underscores TIACA’s ongoing commitment to fostering innovation and supporting emerging businesses that are reshaping the future of air cargo. By partnering with HAUS61, a logistics accelerator specialising in logistics and supply chain technology, TIACA aims to create new opportunities for collaboration between established industry leaders and innovative start-ups.
“At TIACA, we believe that innovation is essential to the continued growth and sustainability of the air cargo industry,” says Roos Bakker, Chair of TIACA. “Our partnership with HAUS61 will help bridge the gap between start-ups with fresh ideas and the industry stakeholders who can bring those ideas to life.”
“Partnerships like this are vital for the future of air cargo,” adds Glyn Hughes, Director General, TIACA. “By connecting start-ups with established players, we not only accelerate innovation but also ensure that our industry continues to evolve with agility, creativity, and a strong focus on delivering value to global supply chains.”
Under the agreement, TIACA will officially recognise HAUS61 as its Innovation and Start-Up Partner. The collaboration will feature a dedicated Start-Up Pavilion at the TIACA Air Cargo Forum, along with exclusive investor pitch sessions to connect innovative start-ups with potential industry investors. Both organisations will jointly develop workshops, mentorship initiatives, and knowledge-sharing programmes aimed at strengthening the start-up ecosystem within the air cargo sector. HAUS61 will take the lead in scouting, selecting, and coordinating participating start-ups.
“We are thrilled to collaborate with TIACA to accelerate the adoption of innovation within air cargo,” says Hendrik Bender, CEO, HAUS61. “This partnership enables us to create meaningful connections between pioneering start-ups and industry leaders who can help transform the logistics landscape.”
Both organisations have agreed to hold quarterly review meetings to assess progress and explore further joint initiatives under the MoU, which took effect on November 1, 2025.
