The world’s leading aviation services provider said the new executive will guide its strategy, operational performance, and digital innovation as it works to shape the airport experience of the future.

Swissport confirmed that Severson will join its executive team and report directly to President and CEO Warwick Brady. His role will centre on accelerating Swissport’s transformation agenda, with a strong focus on technology, efficiency, and next-generation airport operations.

Warwick Brady said Swissport is leading technological change in the aviation services sector to improve customer experience. Brady added that Severson’s extensive transformation experience across industries will support Swissport’s goal of delivering safer, more efficient, and customer-focused operations worldwide.

Before joining Swissport, Severson worked as Operating Managing Director at Terra Firma, a major European private equity firm, where he led transformation and value creation across a diverse portfolio. Swissport said the appointment reinforces its commitment to innovation as it works to maintain its position as the world’s number one aviation services provider.
