Switzerland-based air carrier Swiss WorldCargo has joined hands with a vendor-neutral booking and payment platform for international freight Freightos. This collaboration aims to enhance forwarders’ digital booking experience and expand the Swiss carrier’s digital presence.

Through Freightos’ air cargo booking platform, WebCargo, forwarders across select markets in Europe, Asia and the Americas can now easily book Swiss WorldCargo’s products and services. The integration of WebCargo's real-time rate comparisons and e-booking capabilities with Swiss WorldCargo’s extensive global network highlights a mutual commitment to improving digital efficiencies in air freight. This development allows forwarders to pair services such as Celsius Passive for temperature-sensitive shipments and X-Presso for expedited transportation with transparent pricing and streamlined booking.

“We take pride in delivering Swiss-quality service and reliability across every aspect of our work. This commitment extends to our digital journey, ensuring a seamless and reliable experience for our customers. Partnering with the digital platform WebCargo allows us to elevate our customers’ digital booking experience while expanding our market presence onto future-looking digital solutions,” said Alain Chisari, Head of Swiss WorldCargo, in a recent release.

Adding to it, Zvi Schreiber, founder and CEO of Freightos, said, "The integration of Swiss WorldCargo into WebCargo by Freightos marks another significant milestone in the Digital Air Cargo revolution. Swiss WorldCargo’s extensive network and premium service enable thousands of WebCargo freight forwarder customers to instantly book their air cargo needs, including specialised shipments like pharmaceuticals."
