Swiss WorldCargo joins Lufthansa–United Cargo transatlantic alliance
The airlines will cooperate on cargo traffic between more than 200 destinations in the US to Zurich and Frankfurt.

Lufthansa Cargo and United Cargo have welcomed Swiss WorldCargo into their joint business agreement. This expanded partnership will offer cargo customers greater flexibility and enhanced transport options, with denser direct connections between Europe and the Americas, according to an official release from Lufthansa Cargo.
Over the past years, Lufthansa Cargo and United Cargo have successfully offered their customers a joint business agreement, enabling the two airlines to cooperate in various areas, including sales, customer relations, and networks between the United States and Europe.
Effective 1 August 2025, Swiss WorldCargo will officially join the joint business agreement with Lufthansa Cargo and United Cargo, further reinforcing the alliance. The expanded partnership is set to offer customers enhanced connectivity, streamlined services, and a more seamless cargo experience across the transatlantic network.
Under the expanded joint business agreement, United Cargo, Lufthansa Cargo, and Swiss WorldCargo will work closely together on the aspects mentioned above. The airlines will cooperate on cargo traffic between more than 200 destinations in the US to Zurich and Frankfurt, the release added.
All joint activities will be conducted in full accordance with applicable laws, including the competition regulations of the European Union and the United States.
